Miss Emmi's Story

Updated: Mar 26, 2018

Miss Emmie was over 50% covered in Demodectic mange when the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency asked us if we could take her. Demodectic mange is a red, itchy skin infection that is caused by mites. She was treated, placed in a foster home, and given time to heal and lots of love. Miss Emmie's personality has come out more and more as she recovers. As most puppies do, Miss Emmie loves to chew on hew chewy toys and will occasionally sneak a sandal or a slipper. She loves squeaky toys and playing. Miss Emmie gets along with other dogs, big and small. She's been a total love the whole time. She is also very smart and has learned how to use the doggie door within a week's time. She is still a pup, so she has a hearty appetite. She loves a good snuggle and could be a lap dog someday. Miss Emmie is currently learning how to sit and lay down.
